Sapholda Ventures Limited a leading logistics Company in Ghana has renewed its sponsorships package for the Greater Accra Hockey Association ahead of their 2024 League Season.

In attendance for the event was the Vice Chairman of the Greater Accra Hockey Association Mr. Tamakloe and delegation from Salpholda Ventures led by the head of Sales and Marketing Mr. Ebo Acquaye, some of GAHA Executives, technical officials and players.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Acquaye said, Salpholda Ventures will provide crucial financial support to clubs and also the sponsorship will serve as a platform for brand exposure and engagement.

The Ghana Hockey Association will get 100,000 Ghana Cedis financial benefits, a 50,000 increment from the original deal which was signed last year.

The GAHA Chairman in his address stated that the deal will be used to develop talent and support players from juvenile to senior level.

Mr. Tamakloe said, the Association will use 40% of the money to rent the pitch to enable all clubs equal opportunity to train on the turf for the week before matchday.

“We will use 20% to facilitate refresher courses for umpires, Judges and other technical officials”. Mr. Tamakloe further stated that 30% of the deal will be used to support some of the community-based youth teams in terms of transport.

The 2024 Salpholda Hockey will commence on the 27 of April to June for the first round with 4 Senior Teams, 7 Men Teams, and 6 Female Teams.
