The Minister for Youth and Sports, Hon.Isaac Kwame Asiamah has presented a cheque to the contractor to expand and rebuild the New Edubiase Stadium project to suit the best of it’s standard.
The Minister tasked the contractor to redesign the project and bring it to him within the next 5 working days.The edifice when completed is expected to have running tracks, a FIFA standard football pitch, a multipurpose gym, a swimming pool and hostels to house National teams.
According to the hard working Sports Minister, Hon.Isaac Kwame Asiamah during the tenure of Nii Lante Vanderpuye, a cash of ¢1.6 million was issued as part payment for the New Edubiase Sports Stadium.
After Former President John Mahama cut sod for the construction of the 10,000-seater multi-purpose stadium at New Edubiase in the Adansi South District of the Ashanti Region in 2016.
