Drivers Unions in Agona Swedru, has expressed their gratitude to the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and Hon. Cynthia Morrison, the MP for Agona West Constituency and Minister for Gender, for the ongoing Asphatic project in Agona Swedru.
At a press conference in Agona Swedru this morning, the Chairman of Protoa, Mr. Yaw Firr, recommended that, Nana Addo and Cynthia Morrison, needs another term of office from Ghanaians, to continue the developmental projects in the Constituency. Though he appealed to the governent to consider other roads in the Constituency, but assured the driver’s massive voting support in 2020 General Election.
Mr. Fire, apologized to the President and the MP for such demonstration from the floating drivers. He said, they did that out of ignorance, and it is because they were not part of any of the Unions.
He thanked the MP for donating a Tricycle to the Unions to clean the lorry stations.
He therefore urged NPP delegates to endorse the MP with about 99% in the April primaries.
