The New Patriotic Party (NPP) directorates in the Tain District of Bono region, following the declaration and commissioning of the ultramodern district hospital, which was part of the Eurojet project in Tain district, has expressed their gratitude, first of all, to the Almighty and the Ghanaian people, especially, Tain, for the peaceful patience conducted to the official opening of the hospital to access medical healthcare at the facility.
The press gathering, which was held at the forecourt of the facility on Monday, September 6, 2021, according to party faithful, has been rightly done, being hailing the president of Ghana, H.E. Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo, and the NPP government.
Bellow, is their full statements in the release.
“We are very enthused on showing our greatest gratitude as a district to His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana for his excellent job done in Tain district.
We the people of Tain wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to the president of the republic for completing our hospital which we never thought will have been completed sooner. The project is part of the Eurojet project which started during former president J.A. Kuffuor’s regime has seen four regimes before completion.
We cannot hide our feelings as at a point the project was neglected by the John Mahama administration.
We say thank you His Excellency for everything done to seeing these megaprojects come true. The hospital was commissioned in November 2020 with minor operations due to ongoing training at the facility. The training has successfully ended and now the management of the facility has started their full operations on this Monday, 6th September 2021. We are most grateful. Some naysayers held that after the President has commissioned the project, all equipment was evacuated to Sunyani hence the government was just deceiving the people of Tain. We are glad once again to let those naysayers know that the NPP government never fails and we deliver on our promises.
We have a great feeling and equally want to let it be on records to the good people of Tain and the whole country that things went on as scheduled without anybody claiming the glory of what they know nothing about. If some individuals want to be glorified then they should have put pressure on the then John Mahama administration that spent 4 good years without adding any single block to the ones laid by Prof. Mills.
We want to use this same opportunity to appeal to the government to try to expedite works on already started road projects such as Nsawkaw-Debibi road, Debibi-Brodi to Sampa road, Nsawkaw-Seikwa road, Nsuhunu-Bepoase road, and Seikwa-Sampa road. These roads are currently under construction under the NPP government, something we have been denied until the good Samaritan Nana Addo has come to salvage us.
Tain district is much grateful for all projects that the NPP government is undertaken in the district.
