Two people have drowned at Vienna Beach in Takoradi in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan of the Western region.
The incident happened on Sunday June 7, 2020 around 8am.
The bodies of the the deceased(both male) are yet to be found.
One of the deceased has been identified as Carlos Dogbe, a 25year old young man.
Narrating how the family was informed about the sad incident, a relative of Carlos Dogbe, Rosina said the informer is a friend to the deceased.
According to her, they were informed that the deceased together with the informer(friend)allegedly, had gone to the beach to relax after jogging and suddenly, the deceased saw a young boy drowning and in an attempt to rescue him, both the rescuer and the victim drowned.
