On Friday, 8th May, 2020, two suspects allegedly belonging to N.D.C Party were seen by some Patriots at Techiman Magazine busily removing, tearing and defacing the posters of the Parliamentary candidate of New Patriotic Party(NPP) Techiman South; Hon. Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah who doubles as the Deputy Minister of Regional Reorganization and Development.

As law abiding citizens, a complaint was made to the police and they were subsequently arrested. Even though the case is emotional,we will entreat all supporters to be persuasive rather than aggressive when discussing the matter . We should not issue threats to revenge as this may bring unnecessary tension in the constituency.

Again, we should desist from tagging the whole N.D.C members as been behind such an uncivilized behaviour of the two suspects since some high profile opponents have condemned the awful act. This will help the party to sustain the supporters which we know our candidate has in their party.

We have seven (7) months to election hence we need to be circumspect day to day activities in order not to be lured by some people to embark on such a barbaric act.

The Deputy Minister who is also the former National Director of Elections bemoaned the act and charged all politicians to be mindful of whatever they do especially during this covid season through December 2020 Elections.

The case is pending before the Techiman police for investigation.
