Isaac Kwame Asiamah was the immediate former Youth and Sports Minister of our republic.

He was on the throne as a Minister supervising our youth development and sports promotion and development for four years.

His legacies in that sensitive sector are numerous and tangible for all to see.

Yes, no wonder he had received numerous awards for his leadership acumen.

One of his legacies was the total renovation of Baba Yara sports stadium. He envisioned that one day the country might find itself in a quagmire if nothing was done to improve our sports infrastructure.

He acted with alacrity to actualize that hidden vision (in criminal law is called mens rea).
Baba Yara stadium salvaged the country from disgrace, fine, sanction and cancellation some few days ago.

When CAF and FIFA stadium inspectors declared the Cape Coast Stadium unfit to host the crucial world cup playoff, between our senior national team, the Black Stars and their Super Eagles counterparts, Ghanaians were confused, worried and disappointed.

But alas, Baba Yara sports stadium salvaged the nation from any disappointment.
It provided the alternative.
Ghana hosted their counterparts from Nigeria in a stadium that can be compared to any stadium on the globe.

Well done Asiamah for your vision and alacrity in this endeavor.
I pray that your predecessor will finish all the ten regional multi-purpose sports facilities you have begun so that the country would have enough sports facilities for sports development and promotion and also to save the country from any unexpected tasks by the International sports organizations.

In criminal law it is known as actus reus as the act is seen and known.
To the contractor led by its managing director, Kelvin Ofori Atta, Ghanaians are grateful for your diligence and exceptional leadership.

I thank Allah for the confidence Asiamah had in you when he discovered you.
I hope the current Minister still believes in your competence.

Our nation is blessed with such assets for national development.
