The Chairman for Defence and Interior Committee, Mr Seth Kwame Acheampong has clearly stated that, the national security operatives who effected the arrest of Apostle Kwabena Agyei did no wrong under their rules of Operations.
The Chairman was responding to the earlier press briefing of his ranking member, Mr James Agalga for condemning the national security operatives yesterday.
He advised all National security agencies to display professionalism in making sure the needed processes are complied with in order not to put fear on the minds of the citizens whenever they are going to effect an arrest or other national assignment.
He further spoke about Brong Ahafo Regional Chairman of NPP, Kwame Baffour Abronye for been invited by the CID to be interrogated about some comments made against the former President John Dramani Mahama.
He mentioned the cases of the Deputy National Secretary of NPP Nana Obiri Boahen and Major Rtd. Boakye Gyan , the CID Department of the Ghana Police Service has equally invited all these people for interrogation and that, no one would be allowed to go unpunished, once the laws of the land caught up with any individual in the country.
