Ketu South Municipality in the Volta Region of Ghana is witnessing a historic transformation with the introduction of the Triangular Tourist Attraction, a captivating blend of culture, education, and natural beauty. This ambitious project spans from Agbozume to Sonuto ICT Lab, down to Tack’s Corner Sukutor Memorial Park, and back to Agbozume. It is a unique initiative aimed at placing the municipality on the global tourism map while fostering community development.

  1. THE CHARITY GALLEY ULTRA-MODERN ICT LAB: A HUB OF KNOWLEDGE AND INNOVATION

At the heart of this transformation lies the Charity Galley Ultra-Modern ICT Lab, an outstanding educational facility established in honor of Madam Charity Galley by her son, Mr.  Agbeko Kumordzie, a renowned CPA domiciled in the USA. This cutting-edge ICT Lab, commissioned in November 2024, is designed to provide digital literacy and technological empowerment to students across the municipality.

The lab, often described as a cynosure of all eyes, has already attracted notable personalities, including Wodemaya and Mr. Ben Dotsei Malor, a UN official who has provided immense support to the initiative. Equipped with CCTV surveillance, modern computing infrastructure, and a dedicated bus for transporting students, this center is revolutionizing education in the region.

During his visit, Wodemaya documented the facility’s remarkable impact, inspiring further awareness and patronage. The pre-commissioning event was graced by H.E. Ambassador Prof. Hugh Aryee, a schoolmate of Mr. Agbeko Kumordzie who shares a legacy of educational and developmental advancement.

Quoting Wodemaya, “I agree with you, ONLY we Africans can develop our continent. No child should learn computers on a blackboard. And money is NOT sweet when you hide and enjoy it alone.”

This initiative is not only about education but about uplifting the municipality, ensuring that every child has access to digital literacy, and bridging the technological divide across Africa.

SUKUTOR MEMORIAL PARK: A TRIBUTE TO LEGACY AND CULTURAL HERITAGE
