The Minister for Trade and Industry Hon. Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng has broadcasted that the government has initiated policies to provide guaranteed security for women entrepreneurs to grant them access to credits/ loans to expand their business for the betterment and sustainability of the economy in the country.

Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng communicated with the media at the Ghana Women Entrepreneurship Summit (GWES) is a flagship event of the Ghana Enterprises Agency.

The platform addresses the challenges women entrepreneurs confront in their efforts to contribute to the development of Ghana’s economy.

According to him, women are hard-working and cannot be excepted for their contribution to the development of Ghana’s economy but it seems most at times, the strength of women entrepreneurs is very low and also lack support to develop their businesses.

He therefore reviewed, that there are measures adopted by the government to support women who are in businesses that can be contributed to the betterment of our country.

Mrs.Kosi Yankey Ayeh, the Chief Executive Officer ( CEO) for Ghana Enterprise Agency( GEA) also reviewed her side of gratitude for the support from Nana Akuffo Addo’s government nationwide.
