Preston is set to sign Tottenham forward Troy Parrott on a season-long loan, according to The Evening Standard.
The report claims the 20-year-old has extended his contract at Spurs, with his current deal due to expire next summer, and will now join the Lancashire side on loan.
Preston has reportedly beat off competition from Championship rivals Sunderland, QPR and Middlesbrough for the Republic of Ireland international, who scored 10 goals for MK Dons in League One last season.
