Tudec marked this year’s Eid Al Adha celebration with the usual act of love by sharing bags of meat to people from all walks of life in their homes, at their workplaces, at the churches, the mosques etc.

‘Putting people first” which is the motto of Tudec is something the organization takes seriously. It believes in sharing so everyone can have a piece of the ‘pie’.

Eid Al Adha is one of the most important holidays on the Islamic calendar and it is celebrated by slaughtering cattle according to Islamic traditions.

The distribution of the bags of meat was done across the country in places like Wa, Kumasi, Tamale, Cape Coast, Accra, Takoradi, Akosombo etc. at 63 different locations within these areas.

In all about 950 cattles were slaughtered estimated to have reached 32,000 families.

The excessive was organized in collaboration with Time-to-help; an NGO based in Germany and the Netherlands.

Recipients of the meat were delighted to have received their share of the popular ‘Eid meat’ and encouraged the organization to continue to reach out.
