Wigatap Foundation in solidarity with Prophet Boafo Ministry has donated the Nebulizer machine to Opoku Ware Senior High School to support the sick bay project.
Wigatap Foundation was set-up in 2016 under the auspices of the Prophet Boafo Ministry which has provided educational resources to the less privileged since 2018.
According to Rev Dr. Boafo, the Executive Director and Founder Wigatap Foundation and Prophet Boafo Ministry said he has donated the Nebulizer machine to over 18 senior high schools in the Ashanti Region and he is hoping to extend it to deprived schools who are notable to have electricity that can afford drugs to put in and administer the nebulizer to students who may have breathing crisis or who are suffering from Asthma.
He also said as part of their donations to schools, Opoku Ware was one of the selected schools they chose and donated to them.
In addition, he urged the school to make good use of the machine but we are hoping to strengthen healthcare in other ways in the near future whilst the distribution chain is still ongoing.
The foundation under the auspices of Prophet Boafo Ministry has so far donated to Prempeh College, St. Monica’s, St Louis SHS, Tweneboah Kodua, Asanteman, Manson Adubea, Osei Tutu, Agric College Education, KSTS SHS, KNUST SHS, Agric Nzema, Kumasi Academy and Kwegehey.
However, Yaa Asantewaa SHS, Kumasi Girls, Afia Kobi, OKess and other schools are expected to also benefit from this donation we are embarking on to help school clinics and the sick bay.
