The infrastructural development of some towns in the Assin Central constituency in the Central Region has been progressing steadily over the last couple of months.
This according to the Presiding Member of the Assin Central Municipal Assembly, has come as a boost for the area, which would not only accelerate economic activity but will also be beneficial for the skills training and education of the teeming youth in the municipality.
At the Assin Fosu, the National Vocational Training Institute, which is under the Ghana Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) service, is currently undergoing a significant facelift with the provision of some essential infrastructure needed.
During a visit to the school by Net2Tv News in the company of the Presiding Member of the Assin Central Municipal Assembly and the Director of the institute, it was revealed that 7 new buildings have been constructed in the past few months.
This includes 2 new dormitories for boys and girls, workshops, and other facilities for use by students in their training.

Still, on education, a new school infrastructure for the Obiri Yeboah Senior High School (OYESS) at Assin Dompim is also nearing completion.
