President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, assured of his government’s commitment to ensure peaceful election in 2020.

According to him, his coming into office was through a peaceful election and as such his government will ensure together with other relevant stakeholders for a peaceful election this year.

The President made these remarks when the Ziavi Traditional Council visited him today at the Jubilee House to commend his government of excellent governance.

The Ziavi Traditional Council paid a courtesy call on President Akufo Addo and thanked him for the road construction in the Ziavi traditional area after decades of bad road and this being the first ever time in the history of the council that roads in the area is being constructed.

Zavi Traditional Council use to be part of Asogli Traditional Council all in the Volta region of Ghana.

Speaking behalf of the Council, the President of Ziavi traditional area Togbe Kwaku Ayim IV thanked the Ghana’s President for making Ziavi a traditional council.

He expressed his elation over the free SHS.

He also appealed to the President to work through the Volta region assembly to consider Ziavi area for the one – district -one factory with the production of Coffee known to the indigenes as “ziavi Tutui”

Again he requested and suggested that chiefs are trained In dispute resolution to help them address the little little in their communities.


They commended the president for good work done for there year in office and presented a citation in honour of the President.
