The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Samuel Abu Jinapor has said, the government needs about Gh70 million Ghana cedis to reconstruct Appiatse Community.

He explained that about GHC42 million Cedis has been raised so far and has urged Ghanaians and international communities to continue to contribute to the fund in order to rebuild the community for the good people of the area.

Furthermore, the Minister for lands and natural resources minister, Samuel stated that the member of Parliament for Prestea-Huni-Valley, Mr. Robert Wisdom Cudjoe has not contributed a dime to the Appiatse fund.

The Minister made these comments when the MP for the area called on the minister to give the total balance sheet of the Appiatse fund
