‘Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) trainees in the Ahafo region have commended President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for the introduction of the programme.
According to them, the initiative had taken away their frustrations and anxieties since they had been jobless for years after completion of National Service, adding “it is very painful for our parents to invest in us through education and continue to depend on them for survival”.
The Chief Executive Officer for Nabco is on a nationwide tour to monitor the performance of the 100,000 NABCO trainees who were deployed to various institutions in the country and interact with them.
The day two of the tour took him to Goaso, Mim, Hwediem and Techiman in the Bono East Region.
Speaking to Oman FM’S Kwame Osahene at Goaso, the trainees explained that, clearly, something is better than nothing, even if it is less than what one wanted, for which reason they implore Ghanaians and the youth to disabuse their minds of the impossibility of implementing the programme unless otherwise proven.
