The Hon. Member of Parliament for Okai-koi Central and Deputy Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources, Patrick Yaw Boamah has stated he stand clear on the decision for putting up a new Parliamentary chamber.

Hon. Boamah came up that, Ghanaians are of much needs presently and that needs to be addressed before considering anything of this nature.

He added that, putting up a new chamber is not a priority for the people of Ghana and that, any move to erect such edifice must be halted.

Mr. Boamah further said, already, the government is committing resources into Free Senior High School, School feeding program, roads and more, and that should be the focus at moment so as not to distract the attention of government on the needs of the ordinary Ghanaian, since majority of Ghanaians appreciate the work of NPP when in government and must not be taken for granted and should listen to their call.

He concluded that, the timing of putting up the edifice is wrong and that, the current Parliamentary chamber is more than enough to support Parliamentarians to carry out their mandates or making an inform decision in the interest of Ghana.
