Ayra Starr has teased what looks to be the official remix of her chart-topping hit “Bloody Samaritan” from her first album “19 & Dangerous,” which was released earlier this year.
The song was played exclusively by the Nigerian pop phenomenon during her act on the mainstage of the 2022 Coachella festival, with extra vocals from Koffee, a Jamaican GRAMMYs wonderkid. The Jamaican joined her on stage, singing an unknown verse of the song in its entirety to the thousands of fans who had gathered at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.

Her first album, 19 & Dangerous, was published in 2021, after an amazing self-titled 2021 EP. “Bloody Samaritan” is the main song from the album. The artist traces the passage from youth to maturity on the album, which explores relationships, betrayal, and self-assurance.
Whether displaying her grandeur in hammering earworms or addressing her insecurities in poignant ballads, Starr stays brazen and unapologetic throughout 19 & Dangerous. As the project’s tone varies from cheerful to dark as her lyrics suggest, she shows off her vocal and emotional flexibility.
