Lawmaker for Gomoa East constituency and vice chairman of the parliamentary select committee on youth, sports and Culture, Hon Kojo Asemanyi, has stated that the Government of Ghana will soon intervene in the suspension hanging over the neck of junior Olympic Champion Martha Bissah.

For the last five years

Martha Bissah has  been freezed out of national assignments, mainly for her suspension by Ghana Athletics Association (G.A.A).

“I can’t promise that we can solve the problem this year but I will inform my chairman of the Parliamentary select Committee to call all members of the sports to sit down and solve the problem” he told Oman FM sports Diary.
