The Academic Union of Oxford, in the U.K, has sent a congratulatory message to Ambassador Prof Hugh Aryee, on his elevation to the position of first Trade Commissioner of The Republic of Vanuatu to Ghana.

In a letter signed by the Executive Secretary to the Academic Union, Anna Goronets, the Union said they believe the professional expertise, sophisticated business acumen and innovative skills of Prof Aryee will lead Ghana and Vanuatu to new levels of cooperation, much to the mutual benefits of both nations.

The Presidium of the Academic Union of Oxford expressed their gratification at the appointment of Prof Aryee, who is a member and fellow of the Union, which they believe will enhance the international image of the Union.
