The District Chief Executive for Afigya Kwabre North district in the Ashanti Region, Kwasi Karikari Acheamfour has urged the District Police Command to do their best to help reduce crime rate in the district.


According to him, crime issues have become prevalent in the district and as such called on the Police Service to do their best to put an end to criminal activities in the district. Kwasi Acheamfour made these remarks during a presentation of two motorbikes to Boamang District Police Command at Boamang.


The District Chief Executive said robbery cases and other criminal activities are becoming a nuisance for the communities within the district.


He also urged the Police to instill a maintenance culture within the service to take good care of the motorbikes and other properties belonging to the service.

The District Police Commander, Supt. Dokurugu Benjamin who received the motobikes thanked the DCE for the support of the district assembly and promised that they will use it to combat crimes to the benefit of the citizens.
