The Assembly took this decision due to the failure to the adherence of the Social Distancing.

According to the MCE, JUSTINA MARRIGOLD ASSAN, the Assembly has taken this decision to enable them regulate the activities in the market.

A meeting was held between the leadership of security in the municipality, market Queens and the leaders of the Assembly, on last Thursday to arrive on this decision.

The MCE also made known that 35 suspected Cases has been recorded in the municipality, 19 out of the number has proved negative, 2 confirmed and 14 is pending for results. And to curb the Situation from spreading, it is necessary for for the Assembly to arrive in such decision.

Though the MCE failed to disclose the identity of the Towns within the municipality that has recorded the cases.
