The National Sports Authority (NSA) has directed its regional directorates to suspended all supporting activities despite the lifting of partial lockdown by the President H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in the Greater Accra, Greater Kumasi and the Kasoa environs.

According to a statement signed by Mr. Charles Amofah, Head of Public Relations at NSA on behalf of the Director General, the review of conditions announced by the President and necessitated the adjustment of its activities.

“All sporting activities remain suspended till further notice.

You are to ensure that only essential services are provided from our various directorates including Head Office, Departmental Heads of Security, Administration, Public Relations, Human Resources, and Accounts are expected to be at post.

“All other staff are encouraged to work from home using digital workplace, excerpt when their services are critically needed, which in that case permission must be sought from the Director-General,” the statement said.

The statement advised its staff to observe social distancing protocols as well as personal hygiene and seek further clarification from the Director-General.
