Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways, Hon Anthony Karbo has urged road engineers in the country to do proper planning and ensure value for money in every road construction in the country.

According to him, the Ministry will continue to ensure that the country have quality roads at a very moderate price.

He said this when he launched a designed manual for low volume roads at Engineers Centre in Accra today.

The manual will provide a basis for constructing, rehabilitating or upgrading low volume roads in a manner that draws on International good practices, yet relevant to the Ghanaian content.

On behalf of the Roads and Highways Minister, Kwasi Amoako Atta, the Deputy Minister directed all Chief Directors and engineers to put the content in the manual into practice for quality roads.
