The Black Meteors are poised to beat Algeria in the second leg of their CAF U23 AFCON qualifiers on Tuesday, March 28 and book a place in the tournament which will be staged in Morocco from June 24 – July 8.

The first leg which was played in Annaba last Friday ended 1-1 with Fatawu Issahaku scoring a beauty from long range.

Both teams made the trip from Algeria to Ghana on Saturday and have been preparing for the return encounter.

Coach Ibrahim Tanko’s side wrapped up their preparations for Tuesday’s match with a final training session at the Baba Yara Stadium on Monday evening.
