A total of 30 Black Queens players have reported to camp and have begun preparations for their impending Paris 2024 Olympic Games Qualifiers.

The team, which began the training last Tuesday at the Accra Sports Stadium, will play as guests to their Guinean counterparts on Friday, July 14, 2023, at Stade General Lansana Conte in Nongo, Conakry at 16:00GMT before hosting the return leg in Accra.

Head Coach Nora Häuptle is expected to prune the squad to 26 after assessing their strength prior to the Guinea trip.

The players in camp include UKS SMS Lodz midfielder Ernestina Abambila, FC Kiryat Gat’s forward Adubea Princella, Grace Asantewa of Real Betis Feminas, Evelyn Badu who plays for Avaldsnes FC, Agbomadzi Blessing Shine of AS Far Rabat, Janet Egyir of Hapoel Jerusalem Katamon, Ama Duah Susan (Avaldsnes FC), Adjei Konadu Vivian (Gokulam Karela FC) and Asifuah Gifty (1207 Antalyaspor).

Also in camp are Hasaacas Ladies quartet of Linda Eshun, Doris Boaduwaa, Success Ameyaa and Yakubu Fiduos.

Amponsah Mary, Achiaa Anasthesia, Owusu Mavis and Osei Victoria from Ampem Darkoa Ladies have also reported.

The rest are Northern Ladies and Black Princesses goalkeeper Afi Amenyaku, Appiah Martha (Berry Ladies), Alhassan Adama (Army Ladies), Nyamekye Stella (Dreamz Ladies), Owusu Princess (Fabulous Ladies) and Maccarthy Kerrie (Kumasi Sports Academy).

Officiating

Meanwhile, Burkinabe referee Nikiema Jacqueline has been appointed as centre referee and she will be assisted by compatriots Kouma Ami – (Assistant I) and Pare Lamouni Latiifah Laura – (Assistant II) while Ilboudo Awa Alphonsine Ornella will play the role of the fourth official.

DIA Fadoum from Senegal has also been named as the Referee Assessor while Kane Oumou from Mauritania works as the Match Commissioner.
