Ghana’s Black Galaxies have departed from Accra for the second leg of their CHAN qualifier against the Super Eagles B of Nigeria.

The team led by coach Annor Walker is expected to arrive in Abuja on Friday before Sunday’s game at the Moshood Abiola Stadium.

The Black Galaxies travel to Nigeria with a 2-0 first leg victory. Goals from Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Seiju Suraj ensured Ghana take advantage of Abuja.

The winner of the game on aggregate qualifies for the Championship of African Nations in Algeria early next year.

Ghana has failed to qualify for the last three editions of the competitions despite having a good record at CHAN tournaments.

The Black Galaxies have twice been in the finals, losing in 2007 to DR Congo in the inaugural edition before a penalties shootouts defeat in 2014 to Libya.
