The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration is urging members of the public who have applied for a passport to pick up their printed documents at the various passport application centres across the country.

In a press release, the Ministry said it was concerned that although “applicants have been informed through text messages that their passports have been printed and sent to the various passport application centres, most of them are yet to be collected.”

According to the Ministry, its centres within Accra and Kumasi currently have about thirty thousand uncollected passports.

They are therefore appealing to applicants to pick up their documents since they may be required for future renewal.
