The Member of Parliament (MP) for Effutu Constituency, in the Central Region, Alexander Afenyo-Markin says the cost of Tourism is too expensive in Ghana, he specifically talked about hotels.

The MP accepted the fact that even though the cost of running such facilities is high, he pleaded with all necessary stakeholders to manage the expenses and not push all down to clients.

Cost of Hotels too expensive in Ghana – Afenyo-Markin

”Cost of hotels is too expensive in Ghana”, Ecotourism is too expensive…averagely people pay 200..300 dollars for a hotel in Ghana, how do you expect people to come”, he asked.

Mr. Afenyo-Markin did not stop short to say that the expensive hospitality industry does not attract investments.
