The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has counted nine more deaths related to Covid-19 bringing the toll to 433 from the previous 424.

The GHS has also recorded 777 new cases of the infection.

The new infections have increased the number of confirmed cases to 68,559 according to the latest case management update by the GHS.

Clinical recoveries from Covid-19 have also increased to 62,340, said the health authority.

The GHS said the country’s active cases have now increased to 5,786.

Out of the total number of active cases, 126 patients are in severe condition while 46
others are in critical condition.

The   Greater  Accra   region   which   remains  the  epic  centre   of  the  virus   has   registered   more  than   40,000   cases followed   by  the  Ashanti   region  with   12,453  cases.
