Parliament of Ghana has arranged to carry out a compulsory coronavirus testing for both members of Parliament and Parliamentary staffs come tomorrow 20th May, 2020.

A program that has been scheduled to commence at exactly 9:00am tomorrow Wednesday is expected to test and ascertain the real health situation of all members of Parliament and Parliamentary workers with respect to COVID-19 as parliament is putting up all necessary measures in making sure that not a single case of COVID-19 is recorded.

This revelation came up when the Majority leader , Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu was responding to a comment made by the minority chief whip and member of Parliament for Asawase Alhaji Muntaka Mubarak Mohammed claiming that, Ghana is not doing much with respect to the fight against COVID-19 and that much could be done than what we are doing now.

Mr. Muntaka made those remarks soon after the health minister, Mr Kwaku Agyeman Manu had brief the House on Ghana current state of CSM and COVID-19.
