Ghanaian Gospel Artiste, Diana Antwi Hamilton wins Artiste of The Year at the 22nd edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards held over the weekend.
The two-day event took place at the Grande Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre.
The awards night took off with a spectacular performance from the two gospel sensations Diana Hamilton and Joe Mettle.
Efya, Adina, Kuami Eugene, Kidi, Okyeame Kwame, Mr. Drew, Eno Barony, Medikal, Kwesi Arthur, Keche, guest artiste Joeboy, Kumerican boys amongst others electrified the stage with their respective performances.
Rapper Sarkodie made a surprise appearance on stage thrilling patrons with his ‘Adonai’ track which features Castro. He performed with Kurl Songx alongside Kofi Kinaata in remembrance of the missing artiste.
All covid-19 protocols were observed accordingly from the red carpet to the final announcement of the Artiste of the Year.
