The Omanhene of Drobo Traditional Council in the Bono Region, Nana Okokyiridom Sakyi Ako II, has endorsed the candidature of President Akufo-Addo ahead of the crucial December 7 general elections.

According to him, President Akufo-Addo has performed creditably and therefore needs another term of office to continue with his transformational agenda.

Speaking at a durbar at Zezera in the Jaman South to welcome to President, Nana Sakyi Arko II noted that Ghanaians will do themselves a great disservice if they fail to retain the President Akufo-Addo in power to continue with implementing his policies and programmes aim at developing Ghana to an appreciable level.

He said in the history of Ghana president Akufo-Addo is the only president who has distributed the national cake to the benefit of every citizen, ranging from free water, free meals, free electricity and on top free education.

President Akufo-Addo and his entourage are on a two day working visit to the Bono region as part of his nationwide visit to the regions.

Joining him for the tour were Sunyani East MP and Majority Chief Whip Akwasi Ameyaw Cheremeh, Employment and Labour Minister Sunyani West MP, Ignatuis Baffour Awuah, Hon Akwasi Amoako Atta Roads and Highways Minister, Afriyie Akoto Minister of Agric, Hon Dan Botwe, Kofi Gyamasi chieftancy minister, Kwabena Adjei Agyapong former general secretary, Bono Regional Chairman Kwame Baffoe Abronye, Mrs Evelyn Ama Kumi Richardson, Bono Regional Minister and other bigwigs in the party.

The President supervised the swearing in of chiefs in the region to form the new Bono Regional House of Chiefs and cut sod for the construction of ultra-modern accident and emergency complex at Dormaa, inspected road construction at Zezera.

The President Akufo-Addo also commissioned tomanto processing factory under one district one factory at Jinijini in the Berekum West.
