The Deputy Minister for Bono region and immediate past chairman of the Committee on Education of Parliament Hon Stevens Siaka has urged Students of the SHS to take full advantage of the E- Learning program that the Ministry of Education is introducing on Ghana Learning channel of the GBC from Friday 3rd April 2020 to make good use of their time at home following the closure of schools as a result of COVID 19 .

He said other E- Learning program introduced by authorities of the various basic and second cycle schools should be taken seriously by the students .

Hon Stevens Siaka made the comments in an interview with Oman Fm Parliamentary correspondent Nana Ampofo Ayeh.

For the program to be successful , Hon Stevens Siaka said parents have a major role to play by making sure that their children avail themselves for the program .

Hon Siaka commended the Ministry of Education for its plans to include Students of Junior High Schools in the Ghana Learning Channel E- Learning program .

He admonished students to take lessons which will be thought on the program seriously to make the program useful to them..
