Team CSR Ghana on Saturday, put smiles on the faces of hundreds of orphaned children after donating a variety of teaching and learning materials among other items to “The Potter’s Village Children’s Home at Dodowa in the Greater Accra Region as part of the Team CSR Ghana operations in the country.

The donations were made by Mr. Jonathan Akuamoah, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Team CSR Ghana.

The gesture dubbed Back to School Operation Big Book Bag, was in partnership with SGRHO Sorority Sigma and Opp Fraternity Tau Chi.

The items donated to The Potters Village Children’s Home included a variety of foods, and teaching and learning materials such as textbooks, school bags, and ICT gadgets among other items.

Speaking to the media, Mr. Jonathan Akuamoah, revealed the move is to help orphans and abandoned children and to reach out to the underprivileged, school dropouts, and street children.

He mentioned that Team CSR Ghana aims to address societal needs, create positive change and contribute to achieving the SDGs whether it’s investing in education, healthcare, environmental sustainability or empowering local communities.

Nana Ama Adu Owusu, the Chief Executive Officer for The Potter’s Village Children’s Home expressed her profound gratitude to the team for the surprise gesture.

She again used the opportunity to appeal to individuals and corporate bodies to continue providing the necessary support to the organization.
