Mr Yoofi Grant who is the Chief Executive Officer for GIPC has indicated that to enhance support for investors and attract high-quality sustainable investments to Ghana. The centre has become more proactive to investor sentiments.

He stated that through a World Bank assistant under the Ghana economic transformation projects the country has developed a corporative investment promotion strategy and business plan that has been aiding GIPC in defining and optimizing its partnership with stakeholders and external teams.

The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Madam Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey also called for the implementation of the policies to engender a transformative environment for enhanced trade and environment.

The Sector Minister who also doubles as the Member of Parliament for Anyaa Soutuom said this would enable commonwealth members to reap prosperous and mutual benefits from integration and participation in global and regional supply chain as well as mutual trade.

Hon. Shirley Ayorkor made the call during a joint Ghana Investment Promotion Centre and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration under the theme Navigating the changing landscape of international investment agreement.

She further added that the government through digital innovations had eased the burden of doing business and investing in the country by streamlining process to provide faster and convenient service to people.

She also encouraged investors to continue to put their money into Ghana’s agriculture and manufacturing and industry, ICT and Authomobial sectors was mutually beneficial opportunities abound.
