Mass Action Committee (MAC), a Civil Society Organisation (CSO) on Wednesday paid a courtesy call on the Former President HE John Agyekum Kuffour on the need for a new voters register.

Executive Secretary for MAC, Atik Mohammed said, Ghana needs a new voter register for transparency in the 2020 general election and beyond.

He added that, the need for a new voter register is no longer an option, but an urgent necessity.

In responding to their call, the former President John Agyekum Kuffour said, we should let the Electoral Commission do its work as mandated by the Constitution of the Republic.

However, if there are any differences to be sorted out, then Supreme Court is the option but not to organised Mob to attack the Commission.
