On Friday, 22nd April 2022, the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Hon. Henry Quartey participated in a conference partnered by the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) and the Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) under the theme: The New Face of Greater Accra: Collaborative Cities and Private Sector in Achieve Accelerated Development at the Accra Metropolitan Assembly Conference room.

According to the Regional Minister, AGI has brought on board over 100 potential investors to brainstorm strategic moves to advance the development of the Region.

Topics discussed at the forum include; West African automotive village: The role of the private sector,
Modernizing Accra: Available Projects and Investment Opportunities for Private sector involvement
Business Operation Issues: Permits and Property Tax
Renewable Energy is the Way to Go – Financing Solar Projects.

 

At a presentation, the President of the Association of Ghana Industries, Dr Humphrey Kwesi Ayim-Darke commended Hon. Henry Quartey for the great work done. He added that, after AGI’s first meeting with him, they were motivated to bring on board more investors to help Make the Operation Make Greater Accra Work a reality.
