The office of the Member of Parliament of Ablekuma West in collaboration the Ghana Education service has embarked on a fumigation exercise in all 14 public basic schools in the Ablekuma West Constituency.

The Member of Parliament for Ablekuma west Ursula Owusu-Ekuful who also doubles as the Minister of Communication said the coronavirus is a global pandemic, which should not be taken likely and therefore the need to fumigate basic schools in her constituency is a call in a right direction.

Ursula Owusu-Ekuful again appealed to residents to abide by the simple protocols and directives from the President by washing their hands and using sanitizers.

The Director of Education for Ablekuma west, Christian Julius Afrala, commended the MP and the MCE for such an exercise, as it will go a long way to protect the children from infection and the students will also have a save mind to study when school reopen.
