The government has set aside GH₵220 million to help resettle families displaced by the spillage of the Akosombo dam, the Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori Atta has said.

The amount is captured in the 2024 budget which also spells out the government’s alleviation strategy for the victims of the October floods.
