Ghanaian business mogul who doubles as the Member of Parliament for Assin Central and Chief Executive Officer of Kencity Media, Hon Kennedy Akompreko Agyapong as part of his contribution to support some various institutions in the country presented hundred mattresses and pillows to support the Oncology Department at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

The motive behind this contribution according to him is to save patients who slept on the bare floor to seek good health care.

Addressing the media after a short presentation, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong said this special donation is taking place today due to information being given to him by one of the hospital staff and this is the reason why you see me here today for this special gift.
I’m so excited anytime am here to support this hospital since it is one of the biggest hospitals in this country that are saving numerous people and saving lives.

Speaking emotionally about the recent challenges facing various health institutes in this country, Hon Kennedy Agyapong appealed to other businessmen and women to come all out and support Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

Hon. Kennedy Agyapong also appealed to the media to use the opportunity been given to them to propagate the challenges facing Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for rapid support.

Let us not only put everything on the government since the government alone can’t do anything for us. Some of us who are blessed should also come and contribute to support this hospital.

The Deputy Director for supply change for Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital Kumasi in the Ashanti region Mr. Owusu Bempah has commended the commitment of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong towards health delivery in Ghana.

Owusu Bempah receiving the items urged the Ghanaian media to call on the general public to invest in the health system to improve quality health care in Ghana.
