The Mampong Akwapim Traditional Council has warned citizens to respect the ban on noise making and the curfew in relation to their coming Ohum Odwira festival not to loiter through the community after 10 o’clock in the evening from today.

According to the Council, the ban will be effective from today 26th August to the 8th September, 2019.

The Apesemakahene of Mampong Akwapim Nana Yirenkyi I speaking to the media pointed out that any person caught to have flouted the order will be dealt with.

He said the ban is for a two week period in preparation for this year’s Ohum Odwira festival.

He warned churches, drivers, shop keepers and business owners to respect the ban.
