91 youth in the Manhyia south constituency has benefited from the youth entrepreneurship empowerment project to tackle the unemployment situation in the constituency.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony today, the member of Parliament for Manhyia South constituency and minister for Energy Hon Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh said, the aim of the project is to tackle unemployment among the youth by equipping them with the needed training skills to employ themselves and their families.
The project dubbed, “Reducing unemployment through skills training” was in partnership with the College of Beauty and Arts and Entrepreneurship (CBAE).

All the 91 trainees were selected from the six electoral areas of the constituency and were trained in various skills including Make-Up Artistry, Beauty Technology and Fashion Design Technology.

Madam Rebecca Darko who is the president of CBAE stated that, since the M.P is committed to strengthening the TVET programme by ensuring that more people are empowered through entrepreneurship training to gain skills in his constituency, the graduation should be set as an example by working hard to make everybody’s proud.
