Nike continues to build on its 40th-Anniversary Air Force 1 release calendar with an AF1 Low “Little Accra”, due this year. The new “Little Accra” designs will celebrate New York City’s thriving Ghanaian community with immigrants who have resided in the Big Apple since the 1980s and 1990s.

The offering comes decorated in ornate tapestry with premium leather covered in a colorful palette of red, burgundy, yellow, and rust orange. Highlighting the pair are gold gilded accents giving the silhouette a luxurious look. At the heel, embroideries of “Little Accra” appear in gold to represent an enclave in the Bronx around 167th Street that is a place many Ghanians call home. Adding more spice to the mix are colorful insoles with “Sharing Stories” and Building Community,” followed by golden lace dubraes with Ghanian symbols.

Until more release details unfold, check out the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Little Accra” below and visit our sneaker release page for more updates on upcoming pairs. Expect a release later this year at Nike and select retailers. Keep it locked at Nice Kicks for more sneaker-related news.
