The Board and Management of the National Lottery Authority (NLA) wish to announce that Application Forms for the 2023 Licensing Year are ready for all Private Lotto Operators, (PLOs) entities and or individuals who wish to operate and/or sell Lotto/Lottery products, within the legal framework of the National Lotto Act, 2006, (Act 722).

All interested PLOs, entities, and or individuals should contact the Operations Manager, VAG, and Private Lotto Operations on the first floor of Fortune House, Head Office, Accra for Application forms and terms of payment from Tuesday, 15th November 2022. The deadline for submission of Application Forms is Wednesday, 30th November 2022.

 

Licenses are valid from 1 January 2023 to 31st December 2023.

KINDLY TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING:

1. You would be required to pay a Non-Refundable Application Fee of Two hundred Ghana Cedis (GHC 200.00) payable by Bankers Draft ONLY and available at all NLA’s Regional/District Offices and the NLA Head Office, Fortune House, Accra.

2. All PLOsalready Licensed in 2022, who wish to operate nationwide will in 2023, pay a License Fee of One million, Five hundred Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC 1,500,000.00)

3. The License Fee for new PLOs who wish to operate nationwide in 2023 is Two Million Ghana Cedis (GHS 2, 000,000.00).

Upon completion of this exercise, any unlicensed persons and/or entities found operating and/or selling Lotto/Lottery products would be dealt with in accordance with the laws of Ghana.

In line with this notification, NLA shall deploy its task force in conjunction with the security services nationwide, to clamp down on recalcitrant Operators and ensure full compliance.
