The Chairman of the Public Account Committee of Parliament Hon. James Avedzi Kluste has directed the Principal of Pantang Nursing and Midwifery School to get in touch with the Director of Interpol and provide the necessary information of Madam Afua Nyarkoa is a former teacher of Pantang Nursing and Midwifery College who has been receiving a monthly salary but no more in the office of an amount of GH¢69,069. 000 which she knew she was not entitled to receive as salary.

Mr. James Avedzi stated that Mad. Afua Nyarkoa has caused financial loss to the state and therefore called on the director of Interpol to track her location so that government can retrieve the money Madam Nyarkoa and one other teacher whose names are withheld also owe the school an amount of 13,473,9. 000.

Mr. Avedzi Chairman of the committee also urged the administrator of the school Mr. Betrand Yabani who issued payment of vouchers to also appear before the committee.

” If their relatives are listening to us they should make the effort and contact the school immediately and make the appropriate arrangements and pay the money that is in the directives of the committee”, he stated.

The Public Account Committee has started its sitting to consider the public hearing of the 2018 Auditor-Generals report covering the event of 2017.
