Parliament has accordingly approved an amount of twenty four million dollars to finance the rehabilitation of the Dome-Kitase Road Project which is about (20.1km).

The project when completed it is envisaged that the reconstruction of the road would directly benefit the inhabitants with the catchment area and specifically enhance integration of both region s, boost economic activities, transportation of agricultural produce and improve access to social and health services, which would by and large positively impact socio economic development.

Speaking to Oman Fm Parliamentary correspondent, Nana Ampofo Ayeh the MP for the area, Hon. Osei Bonsu Amoah and Deputy Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, said the road was his major worry which he has followed for so many years for construction even when they were in opposition. The project is expected to be completed within 24 calendar months.
