President Akufo-Addo has opened the first-ever Presidential Business Summit aimed at providing the platform for frank and open interaction between the government and the private sector.

This is in recognition of the critical role the Private sector plays in guaranteeing economic growth, create jobs and place Ghana as an economic powerHouse in West Africa.

President Akufo-Addo who opened the Summit assured the private sector of creating the enabling environment for its success.

According to President Akuffo -Addo, Government will continue to strengthen and deepen engagement with the private sector to enable Ghana to attain the goal of a self-reliant country.

 

The Minister of Trade and Industry, Alan Kyeremanteng said building a resilient and productive private sector to position Ghana as the leading manufacturing hub in Africa is the strategic goal of government.
