The President of Ghana H.E Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo paid a surprise visit to NMIMR, UG on Sunday, 10th May 2020.
His visit was to see the process of testing for COVID-19 and to interact with the staff who have been working tirelessly for 24 hours on daily basis. Also present was the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ebenezer Oduro Owusu, Provost, CHS Prof. Patrick F. Ayeh-Kumi and the Director of Institute Prof. Abraham K. Anang.
The president expressed satisfaction with the work going on and thanked the Institute and University for working hard to help meet the demand for COVID-19 testing in the country.
